The fabric is "JIMI CLOTH"
The fabric is made from SUGARHILL's original left-hand twill denim "JIMI CLOTH," which was newly developed in collaboration with Kuroki Co., Ltd., headquartered in Ibara City, Okayama.
The warp threads are made of Zimbabwean cotton No. 7 and dyed with pure indigo.
The weft thread is also made of Zimbabwe cotton 7 count. 12.8oz
Regular denim fabric is woven using indigo-dyed warp threads and undyed weft threads.
The weft thread is dyed light beige, giving the fabric depth through the interplay of colors.
The most distinctive feature is that it is woven with a left-hand twill.
By weaving left-twisted yarn with a left-handed twill, the yarn is tightly twisted and the twill pattern stands out.
As a result, compared to the rough impression of the right twill, the left twill has a more uniform surface, a subdued luster, and a soft texture.
In addition, the raised ridges make it easier for marks to appear over time, resulting in a more pronounced vertical fading.
